Welcome to Wiltshire Singing Lessons!
My name is Francesca J. Littmann, and I specialise in singing lessons that support my students to overcome vocal barriers, using a holistic approach to move past mental blocks to unlock your full vocal potential. Whether you’re struggling with self-confidence, facing performance anxiety, or simply want to discover your voice, I offer personalised guidance, whatever your age, to help you express yourself fully through vocal sound and song.
I have over 26 years of singing teaching experience, including working with clients and students of all ages from all over the world, in combination with a Certificate of Teaching and a Singing Performance Diploma from ABRSM, a TQUK Level 2 Certificate in Understanding Children & Young People's Mental Health, and various other qualifications in music and the field of holistic health. I combine my extensive experience and skills to provide my students with a safe, empathic space where they can learn and grow in a way that fully supports their unique needs.

Background
My lifetime career as a singing teacher and vocal coach happened by happy chance when, in 1999 at just 16 years old, I took on my first singing student. I quickly discovered I had both a great passion and a natural gift for teaching. I was lucky enough to learn to teach as humans learn best, through direct hands-on experience, whilst I simultaneously continued my own study and training of singing and teaching.
By the time I reached my mid-twenties I had built up thriving singing teaching practices first in West Sussex then West Yorkshire, as well as working in independent schools with 1:1 students and choirs, and for Stagecoach Performing Arts. My students had a 100% ABRSM exam pass rate with the majority passing high above the national average with merits and distinctions, and they achieved highly at local music festivals.
I absolutely loved teaching, but being so young, there was a part of me that felt the call to experience more of the world. So I temporarily left my singing teaching behind to volunteer with a children's charity in Nepal and to travel. I eventually ended up living abroad for 12 years, first in France, then the Netherlands, then France again. Alongside teaching, during this time I also began training in holistic therapies and meditation techniques. Through my explorations I discovered there was a strong crossover between my newly acquired skills and those I had learnt and developed in my earlier years training as a singer and a teacher. I often came across people who told me they couldn't sing, or that they were bad at singing, and I found that by merging my skills together I was able to offer them a holistic approach to singing which released them from a lifetime of blocks that had previously prevented them from using their voice. The result was that those who had previously had fears and blocks around singing discovered a newfound love of their singing voice, which completely transformed not only their relationship with it, but increased their confidence in many other areas of their lives too.
